Julia is a multilingual and versatile professional with a strong background in European affairs. As part of the Brussels office of Edelman Global Advisory, Julia supports clients across several sectors, including government affairs, nutrition, and sustainability, on EU policy and public affairs strategies.
Prior to joining Edelman, Julia worked at the trade association Plastics Europe, where she honed her skills in supporting clients with campaigns related to EU environment, circular economy, energy, mobility, and sustainability policies.
Julia holds a Master's degree in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University and a Bachelor's degree in European Studies from the University of Coimbra. Her educational background and work experience have taken her across several countries, including Portugal, Poland, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
Originally from Brazil, Julia's passion for European affairs led her to pursue her academic and professional goals in Europe. She is fluent in English, is native in Portuguese, and has proficiency in French.
