Gurpreet joined Edelman in July 2014 and manages the Edelman Brussels team.
He brings over fifteen years’ experience of communication and issues management.
Leading a team of consultants, Gurpreet works across a range of sectors and issues including litigation, financial services, energy, health, tech and food.
He has worked with a diverse range of clients on reputation management, campaigning for public policy change, and advising on social purpose endeavours.
His current clients include trade associations, corporate organisations and partnership organisations. He also works with the European institutions including the European Parliament, the European Investment Bank and CHAFEA.
Before joining Edelman Gurpreet worked as an advisor to Lord Turner at the Financial Services Authority. This role included advocating for policy agreement in international and regional forums, crisis management and finding creative solutions to resolve challenging policy challenges.
Gurpreet also held several roles within the UK Labour party between 2005 and 2010. This included working with then Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, as well as pivotal roles in the local, national and European election campaigns.
